Location: Hybrid work in San Jose, California, with on-site attendance required three days per week. Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status, an applicable exemption, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining export authorization.
Salary: $66,000–$119,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do
- Review and draft standard NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, and purchase order terms using established playbooks.
- Identify deviations and unfavorable clauses, prepare initial review summaries, and escalate legal or business risks.
- Support pre-award proposals through RFP compliance checklists, representations and certifications, and submission packages.
- Track post-award deliverables, CDRLs, contract modifications, deadlines, and customer communications.
- Maintain government portal profiles and certifications across SAM.gov, PIEE, WAWF, and supplier databases.
- Maintain version-controlled, audit-ready contract records and coordinate contracting status with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration, subcontracts, or legal operations, including relevant internships.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree.
- Basic working knowledge of FAR/DFARS concepts and federal procurement systems.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks, shifting deadlines, contract metadata, and deliverable tracking.
- Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information through U.S. person status, an exemption, or export authorization eligibility.
Nice to have
- Active TS security clearance or eligibility to acquire one.
- Experience with space systems, satellite operations, aerospace contracting, or CLM tools.
- Professional certification coursework such as NCMA CFCM or CPCM.
