Contract Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Folsom, California; travel between multiple sites may be required.

Base salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year, excluding benefits and bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage contracts across the full lifecycle, from RFP and proposal through negotiation, award, execution, and closeout.
• Lead contract structuring, pricing discussions, negotiations, and external engagement with customers, primes, partners, and suppliers.
• Identify contractual, financial, operational, scope, pricing, compliance, and regulatory risks and drive mitigation strategies.
• Support solicitations, proposal strategy, business development, pricing alignment, and risk-reward evaluations.
• Ensure contract documentation, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and appropriate flowdowns to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Partner with Programs, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and maintain program execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Contracts, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in contracts.
• Strong experience with commercial fixed-price contracts and FAR/DFARS flowdowns, preferably in a prime contracting environment.
• Ability to independently negotiate complex agreements and analyze and mitigate contractual risk.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR and EAR requirements and eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience transitioning from commercial to government contracting environments.
• NCMA CPCM or CCCM certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
