DevOps Engineer (FinOps)

Location: 100% remote from the United States; candidates must already be authorized to work for any US employer without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 annually plus a 5% bonus plan.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket and develop infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes-based microservices deployments.
• Optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including RDS, MongoDB, and Couchbase.
• Support VoIP and telephony infrastructure using Asterisk, Kamailio, RTPEngine, and SIP technologies.
• Maintain Kafka messaging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, documentation, and on-call support.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in DevOps or a similar role focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, and complex environments.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible or Chef, CI/CD, Bitbucket, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Netscout, and ELK.
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, Kafka, security practices, vulnerability management, static code analysis, and compliance frameworks.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining highly available telecommunications infrastructure.
• Experience with Asterisk, Kamailio, RTPEngine, Cisco, Couchbase, or MongoDB optimization.
