Director, Kidney Forecasting & Analytics (Biotech)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid-eligible with remote work up to two days per week, or on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Base salary: $192,000–$288,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, refinement, and ongoing evolution of forecasting models across the kidney portfolio and multiple disease areas.
• Support long-range planning, scenario planning, operational forecasting, commercialization planning, launch readiness, lifecycle planning, and portfolio prioritization.
• Translate clinical developments, market events, competitive intelligence, market access considerations, epidemiology, and research findings into forecast assumptions and scenarios.
• Deliver forecast outputs that explain key drivers, sensitivities, risks, opportunities, uncertainties, and performance indicators.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Market Access, Medical, Commercial Strategy, HEOR, Marketing Science, Clinical, and regional teams.
• Synthesize complex data and analyses into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals in a quantitative commercial, finance, strategy, business development, forecasting, or analytics role, or equivalent consulting experience.
• Deep expertise in forecasting methodologies across early pipeline, launch, and in-line forecasting contexts.
• Experience supporting complex assets, portfolios, multiple disease areas, senior leadership, commercial planning, financial forecasting, and launch planning.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with large, complex datasets, scenario planning, KPI extraction, and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Python, SAS, and VBA.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; advanced degree preferred.

• Experience in kidney disease or adjacent therapeutic areas.
• Prior in-line forecasting experience.
• Familiarity with generative and agentic AI tools for analytical workflows.
