Lexington Supply Chain Planner (SAP)

What you will do

• Create, manage, schedule, and close planned and production orders in SAP.
• Develop executable master production schedules based on demand, capacity, materials, lead times, and customer requirements.
• Manage WIP, semifinished goods, finished goods, inventory accuracy, substitutions, rework, and remake orders.
• Coordinate sales order changes, delivery schedules, quality notifications, waivers, and manufacturing issues with customer care and quality teams.
• Implement engineering, routing, BOM, fiber, and design changes in production orders.
• Prepare production and backlog reports, analyze capacity and lead times, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Advanced SAP planning and master data skills, with experience using ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and value stream management.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, routing, BOMs, and capacity planning.
• Experience in cable manufacturing, telecommunications, or fiber-optic environments.
• Experience with the Cable Solutions wire and cable industry module.
