Sr Materials Planner (Supply Chain)

Base salary: $82,500–$123,700 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute material plans for instrument manufacturing, service, repair, and refurbishment.
• Monitor material availability and communicate shortages or surplus to prevent supply disruptions.
• Manage inventory levels while balancing customer service, operational readiness, and inventory investment.
• Review planning parameters, lead times, and master data, and analyze supply and demand changes.
• Partner with Procurement to resolve delivery issues and collaborate with Manufacturing, Service, Quality, Logistics, and Supply Planning.
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, product lifecycle transitions, and planning process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Life Science.
• Experience with supply and demand processes, forecasts, receipts and deliveries, inventory reports, accuracy validation, cycle counts, and audits.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large datasets and develop actionable insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, plus strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-cultural organizations and groups.

• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or another professional certification.
