Electrical Engineering Co-Op (Spring 2027)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Students must be US citizens and able to work full-time from January through June.

Salary: $20.00–$45.00 per hour base salary.

What you will do

• Design and develop engineering solutions for challenging technical problems.
• Implement, test, analyze, and document engineering systems, hardware, and components.
• Generate test reports with plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to build and test systems and prototypes.
• Support engineering and manufacturing quality processes across the product life cycle.
• Complete practical assignments involving engineering processes, equipment, facilities, and systems.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited electrical engineering curriculum.
• Availability to work full-time for six months from January through June.
• Experience with at least two relevant areas, such as MATLAB and Simulink, simulation tools, FPGA design, board and chip design, signal integrity, controls, or analog and digital electronics.
• Strong written and oral communication, computer, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and adapt to changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities.

Nice to have

• GPA above 3.5.
• Hands-on experience with electronics prototyping, testing, debugging, and oscilloscopes.
