SoC Verification Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in Austin, Texas, with additional US locations in Folsom, Santa Clara, and Hillsboro

Annual salary: $141,910–$200,340 USD

What you will do

• Define scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans.
• Create test benches and verification environments aligned with microarchitecture specifications.
• Execute emulation and system simulation tests to validate functionality and uncover bugs.
• Debug and root-cause issues in presilicon environments and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, postsilicon teams, and physical design teams.
• Maintain verification infrastructure, integrate security coverage, and improve methodologies using postsilicon feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of hands-on SoC design verification experience; or a master’s degree with 2+ years; or a PhD in a related field.
• Expertise in OVM/UVM methodologies, debugging, and test planning.
• Experience with postsilicon validation and applying feedback to presilicon test plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for work across interdisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model at an assigned hirify.global site in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with emulation models and system simulation tools for performance analysis.
• Experience using AI tools for verification.
