Board Validation Engineer

Annual base salary: USD 109,700–175,500

What you will do

• Own hardware verification strategy and execute end-to-end validation across multiple product lines.
• Design, develop, and implement validation procedures covering power, thermal, timing, high-speed digital design, and host/target interfaces.
• Perform signal and performance analysis to identify product risks and communicate findings to cross-functional engineering teams.
• Author test reports documenting results, deviations, and failure analysis.
• Architect and implement automation frameworks for test execution, data collection, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on hardware testing or board-level design experience, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, thermal chambers, and soldering tools.
• Ability to read complex board schematics and use PCB Viewer software tools.
• Deep familiarity with DDR4, PCIe, UART, I2C, and SPI protocols.
• Experience with Windows and Linux, Python test scripting, GitHub, and AI developer tools such as Claude Code.
