Location: Long Island, New York, United States. The role requires residence in or the ability to relocate to the assigned geographic region, frequent travel within the U.S., and overnight or weekend travel as needed. Work takes place in hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, and sterile processing departments.

Base pay: $54,000–$87,400 per year.

What you will do

  • Guide and assist surgeons during orthopedic trauma procedures by providing clinical and technical support.
  • Serve as the company representative in surgeries and ensure instruments, implants, and equipment are available and functioning.
  • Troubleshoot physician and hospital requests, manage billing, and build or close purchase orders.
  • Maintain, track, deploy, and transport surgical assets between hospitals and sales representatives.
  • Consult with operating room and sterile processing teams and maintain high service and quality standards.
  • Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree or medical certification with at least two years of professional experience; or at least four years of professional experience; recent transition from active military duty is also considered.
  • Residence in or ability to relocate to the assigned geographic region and ability to travel within the U.S., including frequent overnight or weekend travel.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to work in laboratory, operating room, and sterile processing environments.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and basic surgical procedures.
  • Strong communication, influencing, critical-thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, accuracy, and autonomous-work skills.

Nice to have

  • Technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience in data analysis and orthopedic surgical product support.
