TL;DR
Executive Oncology Sales Representative (Head & Neck Oncology): Selling oncology therapeutics and expanding hospital and account relationships across an assigned Upper Midwest territory with an accent on clinical product knowledge, account strategy, and reimbursement support. Focus on prospecting complex healthcare accounts, developing customer-specific sales plans, negotiating orders, and applying emerging AI and technology tools.

Location: Field-based role supporting Des Moines, Iowa; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Rochester, Minnesota, United States. Candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it and must be able to travel, including overnight and weekend travel.

Base pay: $111,000–$178,250 per year, plus eligibility for incentive programs.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and customer accounts.
  • Explain clinical efficacy, product value, access options, and reimbursement information to customers.
  • Analyze assigned business, prospect for new opportunities, and develop account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners.
  • Create customer-specific pre-call and post-call plans using approved materials and marketing tools.
  • Develop hospital and large-account relationships, increase territory penetration, negotiate sales, and close orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Residence in the assigned geography or willingness to relocate to it.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical sales, customer relationships, communication, strategic sales planning, and performance measurement.

Nice to have

  • Specialty sales experience and understanding of solid tumor and oncology markets.
  • Hospital and large-account sales experience.
  • Experience handling complex reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D.
  • Documented successful sales performance in a competitive environment.
  • Interest in learning emerging technologies such as AI.
