Location: Field-based role supporting Arlington and Richmond, Virginia, United States; candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it. Travel is required, including possible overnight and weekend travel.

Salary: $111,000–$185,500 annually

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and assigned accounts.
  • Explain product clinical efficacy, communicate customer value propositions, and provide approved clinical information.
  • Analyze business opportunities, prospect for new accounts, and develop territory and account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners.
  • Create customer-specific pre-call and post-call plans using approved materials and marketing tools.
  • Expand penetration of new and existing accounts, including hospitals and large healthcare organizations.
  • Discuss access and reimbursement options compliantly, negotiate sales, close orders, and achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Must reside in the Arlington/Richmond, Virginia geography or be willing to relocate there.
  • Strong communication, sales planning, customer relationship, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Specialty sales experience and knowledge of solid tumors and oncology.
  • Hospital and large-account sales experience.
  • Experience handling complex reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D.
  • Documented success in a competitive sales environment.
  • Interest in learning emerging technologies such as AI.
