What you will do

• Create dialogue, spotting, localization, and continuity lists for films and television series.
• Transcribe and time spoken dialogue and plot-relevant text, tag metadata elements, and annotate key English phrases for translation.
• Export and finish scripting documents and supporting materials in Word and Excel.
• Revise scripts based on updated video and perform QA/QC on work completed by others.
• Deliver accurate, client-compliant scripts by internal and client deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of scripting products and support client services, production management, internal teams, and clients as a subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Creative Writing, Film Studies, or equivalent applicable experience.
• Native or near-native English proficiency in speaking and writing.
• At least one year of scripting, transcription, or text-editing experience.
• Strong organization, prioritization, critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, computers, and various software tools.
• Knowledge of historical and contemporary events, cultural references, slang, and idioms.
