German Translator (Localization)

What you will do

• Translate marketing, help, UI, and regulated content for assigned clients and projects.
• Use standard CAT tools and internal localization applications to complete translation and query-management work.
• Follow client style guides, translation processes, and quality requirements.
• Support copy-editing, error arbitration, quality meetings, and client quality calls.
• Track personal error statistics, address quality gaps, and apply feedback from senior reviewers and clients.
• Meet productivity, quality, delivery, and team performance targets.

Requirements

• Native-level German fluency and fluent written and spoken English.
• 2–4 years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing.
• Understanding of localization processes and experience with CAT tools such as XTM or SDL Studio.
• Experience with issue-tracking and query-management tools such as JIRA.
• University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistic Studies, or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Ability to work within a virtual team, meet tight deadlines, learn new tools quickly, and communicate effectively with clients and linguists.
