Localization Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, with a requirement to be based on the US East Coast

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end localization lifecycle for a portfolio of enterprise clients.
• Serve as the primary operational contact and trusted advisor for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate stakeholders and cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, and vendor management.
• Design and optimize localization processes, platform configurations, and job workflows.
• Identify process improvements and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve scalability and team efficiency.
• Resolve client and internal operational challenges while documenting root causes and preventative actions.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in localization or translation project management, preferably in a managed services or agency environment.
• Understanding of localization file formats, content types, and CAT/TMS tools.
• Strong client management, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience with project management and reporting tools such as Jira, Asana, Google Sheets, or Looker.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across time zones and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Must be based on the US East Coast and authorized for work verification through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global, Phrase, XTM, MemoQ, or other TMS platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise or SaaS clients in operational or customer-facing roles.
• Fluency or working proficiency in a second language.
• Interest in language, technology, or global content strategy.
