Junior Nuclear Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; primarily in-office, with remote work available when needed. The role may require travel and onsite work, including at remote locations.

What you will do

• Solve engineering problems related to nuclear energy technologies and power-generating systems.
• Support detailed project design and prepare drawings from technical notes and specifications.
• Prepare technical reports, deliverables, and client presentations.
• Assist with research and development of energy technologies.
• Coordinate with technicians and engineers and provide support to senior engineers and designers.

Requirements

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Understanding of engineering and business fundamentals applied to engineering projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite, including at remote locations.
• Official or unofficial academic transcript must be submitted with the application.

• Previous co-op or internship experience.
