What you will do

• Analyze the effects of natural radiation and nuclear events on relevant systems.
• Support design and mitigation strategies for survivable weapon systems.
• Assess nuclear threat environments including electromagnetic pulse, ionizing radiation, thermal radiation, air-blast, and radiological exposure.
• Develop threat-informed, data-driven modernization recommendations for nuclear weapon systems and NC3 platforms.
• Contribute to prototypes and analyses that support the fielding of warfighter capabilities.

Requirements

• Engineering expertise relevant to nuclear effects and survivable weapon systems.
• Ability to work on nuclear weapon systems and Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications platforms.
• Work location is in Bedford, Massachusetts, or McLean, Virginia.
• Required security clearance eligibility is specified as part of the requisition.
