Senior Controller (E-commerce)

Location: Karlsruhe, Germany, with remote and hybrid working options

What you will do

• Translate operational KPI developments into P&L, EBITDA, and cash impact.
• Prepare executive and Management Board materials with financial commentary.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, and driver-based financial models.
• Develop integrated cash, working capital, cost, and profitability planning.
• Support monthly and quarterly closes and improve management and business-unit reporting.
• Integrate financial data into the data landscape, automate manual processes, and develop AI-supported analysis and commentary workflows.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in Controlling or FP&A.
• Experience with cost and P&L controlling, reporting, variance analysis, planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to translate complex financial relationships into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with ERP or consolidation systems such as LucaNet or DATEV, BI tools such as Qlik or Tableau, and planning tools such as Pigment or Board.
• Very good English skills required; German is an advantage.
• Structured, self-directed approach and enthusiasm for developing processes and structures.

• Experience in a digital marketplace or e-commerce environment.
• German language skills.
