Field Service Technician

Location: Deer Park, Texas, United States; on-site field service role with travel of up to 75% primarily within North America.

What you will do

• Execute inspections and maintenance during planned and unplanned outages at customer power plants.
• Service combustion turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Use specialized inspection systems, precision measurement tools, and technical blueprints to diagnose equipment issues.
• Collaborate with contract labor and changing workforces to complete complex scopes safely and efficiently.
• Work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays in physically demanding conditions.
• Represent hirify.global professionally at customer sites while following company safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in power generation, aviation maintenance, industrial rotating equipment, or a related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with turbines, compressors, or other rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and operate at heights.
• OSHA 10 Certification, NCCER Basic Rigger, Forklift Operator Certification, and TWIC.

Nice to have

• Vocational training or an Associate's Degree in a technical field.
