Field Service Technician (Industrial Gas Systems)

Location: Columbia, South Carolina, United States; field work at hirify.global facilities and customer sites

What you will do

• Install and maintain nitrogen on-site generation equipment and cryogenic bulk installations.
• Service equipment at hirify.global facilities and customer sites, including pressure-reduction systems, cryogenic pumps, piping, and electrical controls.
• Respond to equipment emergencies and participate in on-call coverage, including 24-hour emergency response arrangements.
• Perform preventive maintenance, annual inspections, site surveys, and general repairs.
• Verify compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local codes, OSHA, FDA, ISO, and hirify.global safety protocols.
• Maintain required repair parts and ensure installations have appropriate hazard signage and security fencing.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and repair skills.
• Ability to analyze and repair electrical systems, including motor controls, relays, and alarm systems.
• Ability to install piping systems according to company procedures.
• Availability for Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. work, occasional overtime, and on-call responsibilities.
• Ability to work in the Columbia, South Carolina area and at customer sites.
