Field Service Representative II (Turbomachinery)

Location: Remote, but applicants must reside in Wisconsin or Missouri to support the local customer base. The role includes on-site customer service, field maintenance, call-out services, commissioning, and travel.

Salary: $72,360–$108,540 per year. A separate compensation package of $65,000–$85,000 excluding overtime is also mentioned.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and commission turbomachinery and package systems at customer locations.
• Use test equipment, digital tools, schematics, gauges, instruments, and manufacturer specifications to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical components under the guidance of experienced field service personnel or a supervisor.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, routine installations, and equipment adjustments.
• Provide call-out services and direct customer support in the field.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
• Knowledge of customer service, initiative, problem solving, mechanical maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of power plant machinery, oil-and-gas mechanical equipment, related safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and automated process controls.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation drug screen and physical fitness evaluation.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
