Sr Production Technician (7:00pm -7:00am)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States. Onsite role on a 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. shift. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $54,000 per year.

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production machinery, including adjustments and replacement of machine parts and 24VDC electronic components.
• Use robotic pendants to home and reset robots, troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues, and correct inefficiencies.
• Clean and lubricate equipment while supporting Total Productive Maintenance and 6S practices.
• Document manufacturing information in logs and the POMS system, initiate work orders in Maximo, and communicate safety, quality, and mechanical issues.
• Analyze machine failures with the Maintenance team, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and support process improvements, validations, and equipment installations.
• Train new associates and apply SOPs, cGMP requirements, quality standards, and defect-prevention practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Production Technician or above.
• Basic English communication skills are required to understand verbal and written safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Basic computer, mathematics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, measurement-tool, and hand-tool skills.
• Strong data-analysis and decision-making skills; ability to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle Operator Certification.
• Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, stand and walk continuously, and push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds.

• Production or manufacturing experience involving preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
