Sr. Business Intelligence Data Analyst

Location: Secaucus, NJ, United States; onsite

Salary: $82,500–$110,000 annually, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines from ERP, MES, supply chain, finance, and other source systems into reporting-ready datasets.
• Document end-to-end data lineage from source systems through transformations to dashboards and reports.
• Validate, reconcile, and maintain the accuracy, consistency, and usability of key business metrics.
• Build and maintain SOX-compliant data processes, including change management, access controls, audit trails, and documentation.
• Work with IT, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to translate business processes into reliable data solutions.
• Manage work in Jira and follow Git version-control practices while resolving data-quality issues across technical and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and pandas for data processing and transformation.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience with Git, Jira, data lineage, data governance, data quality practices, and SOX controls.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of production, inventory, procurement, and cost accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Exposure to Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience at a publicly traded company or in an audit-supported environment.
