SOCOM - Business Data Analyst (Qlik)

Location: Tampa, Florida, supporting customers at MacDill Air Force Base. On-site office duties, occasional travel, and variable Monday–Friday hours may be required. U.S. citizenship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Gather business requirements, analyze source systems, define data transformations, design data models, and develop metadata.
• Acquire and analyze enterprise data for dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions.
• Collaborate with business areas and project teams to define, prioritize, and document reporting requirements.
• Develop Qlik Sense dashboards and applications, including prototypes and visualization best practices.
• Document data acquisition, management, and governance processes and implement process improvements.
• Create training materials and deliver group and individual training to end users.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a federal background investigation are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, accounting, economics, or a related discipline; 13 or more years of relevant experience may substitute for education.
• At least 10 years of government acquisition, finance, financial management, program management, or related experience within a Department of War organization.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Qlik Sense applications.
• Strong Qlik load scripting skills and advanced SQL experience, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, CTEs, subqueries, and data validation.
• Experience with SQL databases, APIs, Excel/CSV files, enterprise data warehouses, and Qlik security concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with CCaR, PMRT, Jira, Confluence, SOCOM, or the War Data Platform.

Hiring process
