Estimator 3 - National Industrial (Electrical)

Location: Eagan, Minnesota, United States; hybrid schedule

Salary: $92,160–$128,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare complete electrical estimates for industrial and commercial projects, including automotive, mission-critical, and healthcare work.
• Interpret civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage drawings and specifications.
• Estimate labor, materials, administrative costs, subcontractors, and third-party services.
• Lead pre-bid and final bid reviews, kickoff meetings, pre-bid meetings, job walks, and customer interviews.
• Lead small estimator teams and assist with resource scheduling, training, mentoring, and talent development.
• Collaborate with business development, sales, preconstruction, designers, project managers, and field leadership on bid strategy and scope clarification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year related degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical conceptual estimating, low-voltage estimating, National Electrical Code requirements, and design/build estimating.
• Strong experience with computerized electrical estimating software; Accubid or Enterprise experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
