Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Blaine, Minnesota, US; position based in Lexington, Minnesota, with onboarding and training in Blaine or Anoka until the new facility opens in 2027.

Salary: $89,300–$165,800 per year, with potential annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing systems, facility layouts, workflows, and material flows.
• Use data-driven analysis, Lean methodologies, time studies, capacity modeling, and simulation to improve safety, productivity, throughput, quality, and efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and reduce cycle time, work in progress, operating costs, and inefficient resource use.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance, process capability, and quality outcomes.
• Support new product introduction by ensuring manufacturability, scalability, and alignment with engineering guidelines.
• Develop capacity models, resource plans, engineering standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex manufacturing, material flow, or facility optimization initiatives in dynamic or high-volume production environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable improvements through Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and systems optimization.
• Experience with CAD tools for facility layouts and material flow concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to work onsite at facilities in Minnesota, including Blaine, Anoka, and Lexington.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Production simulation software experience.
• PMP certification.
• SQL experience.
