Electrician (Manufacturing)

Starting pay: $44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Replace faulty electrical components, including relays, switches, and motors.
• Diagnose malfunctioning transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and other electrical apparatus.
• Install and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to eliminate equipment failures.
• Support new equipment installation projects and modifications to existing equipment.
• Follow the National Electrical Code, schematics, blueprints, safety standards, and company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least five years of electrician experience working around heavy machinery.
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, holidays, short-notice shift coverage, and primarily the second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with support for first- and third-shift work as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Two-year technical degree from an accredited institution.
• Seven years of electrician or apprenticeship experience.
• California electrician certification and license.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, customer service, troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in a mine, quarry, cement plant, or similar industry.
