Field Service Technician II (HVAC)

Location: Tulsa, OK, United States; frequent travel to customer locations, construction sites, commercial buildings, and industrial sites

What you will do

• Install, start up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and associated systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, controls, and building automation issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, commissioning, and operational verification.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with technical support, engineering, warranty, and Field Service Technician I teams; support product testing, customer training, and warranty investigations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in HVAC service, technical field service, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical controls, mechanical equipment, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and service documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex technical issues independently and manage service calls with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal support teams.
• Ability to travel frequently, work at heights and in confined spaces, drive for extended periods, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical degree, or vocational training in HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical systems, or a related discipline.
• EPA Certification and HVAC-related certifications.
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, controls, and building automation systems.
