Global Procurement & Supply Chain Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States. The role requires willingness to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for Summer 2027; relocation assistance is available for candidates living more than 50 miles away.

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support commodity managers with supplier selection, pricing negotiations, performance management, and quarterly supplier scorecards.
• Administer RFQs, compare supplier quotations, and manage supplier forecasts, communications, purchase orders, and invoice reviews.
• Support component flow into manufacturing plants, including SAP activities and bill of material updates.
• Visit suppliers to assess manufacturing processes, capabilities, capacity, technical qualifications, quality systems, and certifications.
• Provide supplier quality support through APQP, PPAP, capacity verification, corrective-action validation, and 8D problem-solving.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, tactical buyers, and supplier quality engineers on service requirements and production integration.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for Summer 2027.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
