Buyer - OSP (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Manage requisitions and purchasing processes for assigned commodities, including MRO, outside processing, rubber, and work transfers.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations, prepare and issue purchase orders, and flow down technical, quality, and commercial requirements.
• Monitor purchase order shortages, discrepancies, exception reports, and invoice issues, including root cause analysis.
• Manage MRO purchasing and help maintain adequate inventory of consumables, MSC cabinets, and tool crib supplies.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions while supporting quoting packages and work transfers.
• Track supplier performance, maintain purchasing records, and communicate order status and risks to suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
• Experience with requisitions, supplier quotations, purchase orders, purchasing documentation, and invoice discrepancy resolution.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, finance, requestors, and cross-functional teams.
• Onsite work in Laconia, New Hampshire, United States.
