Production Lead - 119 (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Morganton, North Carolina, United States; up to 10% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Coordinate resources and assign work for scheduled production while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Monitor material consumption, material identification, changeover readiness, production transactions, bills of material, and work-in-process inventory accuracy.
• Ensure equipment operates to production standards and report malfunctions to technical staff.
• Update production boards and communicate changes, concerns, priorities, and problems across shifts, leadership, and related departments.
• Support employee training, production lines, counseling and recognition documentation, and a positive team environment.
• Assist with root cause analyses and 8D activities.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in verbal and written English.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and take initiative.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, grasp, push, pull, feel, coordinate eye-hand-foot movements, and lift up to 40 pounds.
