Assembly Operator Lead - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Blaine, MN, US; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily assembly operations and coordinate production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
• Promote workplace safety through floor presence, coaching, policy enforcement, inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and environmental, health, and safety reporting.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, training, and cross-training on safe work practices and standardized procedures.
• Monitor production performance and material flow using visual management tools.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and employee-led continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment with a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, inspect equipment and incident scenes, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work overtime and assigned shifts, including weekends, as business needs require.
