Location: Shrewsbury, New Jersey, USA; onsite role

What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications according to care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain medication records and other medical documentation under RN or LPN supervision.
• Provide resident care while protecting comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, cognition, and emotional status.
• Follow federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal requirements, ethical standards, and HIPAA policies.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to administer medications in accordance with state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, perform fine and gross motor tasks, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
