Patient Care Tech - Imaging Part Time Days (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Perform basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring vital signs, measuring blood glucose, and recording intake and output.
• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, eating, and other activities of daily living.
• Report abnormal physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and support unit workflow.
• Answer telephones, intercoms, and call lights while directing information to the appropriate staff, family members, or patients.
• Validate admission, discharge, and census lists and coordinate with patient care departments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current qualification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school student with one completed semester of clinical training.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, organization, multitasking, critical thinking, and prioritization in stressful situations.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing Assistant program or phlebotomy course.
