Systems Administrator (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; US citizenship required

What you will do

• Administer and maintain multiple secure physical and virtual infrastructures.
• Design, develop, build, and test new infrastructure solutions with a collaborative team.
• Support users by resolving technical issues, conducting systems analysis, and keeping systems current.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, OS and vendor software patching, and antivirus updates.
• Monitor system performance, manage backups, maintain availability, and implement security measures.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus at least five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus three years; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and related application environments.
• Experience implementing Linux and Windows security controls, including STIGs and CIS Benchmarks.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171/800-53, CMMC, System Security Plans, change management, networking, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and network issues.

Nice to have

• Current Security+ CE certification; willingness to obtain it within six months of hire.
