Senior Project Manager (AI Data Centers)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama; position requires on-site work at active construction sites, with frequent outdoor site visits and up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of hyperscale and AI data center campus projects from site development through commissioning and turnover.
• Define project scope, goals, schedules, budgets, risks, and mitigation strategies with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Build and manage teams of electricians, technicians, subcontractors, and other project resources.
• Coordinate procurement, vendors, materials, equipment, and personnel to support project execution.
• Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, safety, quality, change orders, and scope adjustments.
• Maintain project documentation, communicate status to clients and management, and complete project closeout, reporting, and invoicing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in electrical data center construction or large-scale industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, take-off meetings, change orders, client communication, and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work outside and at active job sites most of the time, including navigating uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and other site access points.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• NFPA 70E or OSHA certification.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, Primavera P6, or similar project management tools.
