Project Manager III (Mission Critical / Data Centers)

Location: Boardman, Oregon, USA. On-site work includes construction and facility coordination, occasional travel of 20–30%, varying shifts including nights or weekends, and physical activity such as standing and climbing ladders. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Manage construction and building systems projects from conceptual planning through engineering and construction.
• Develop and maintain resource-loaded P6 schedules, critical path logic, milestones, constraints, procurement items, and project forecasts.
• Manage project budgets, profitability, cost projections, estimates, materials, and construction change orders.
• Assess design changes and schedule delays, communicate impacts, and maintain alignment with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineers, designers, procurement staff, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, equipment suppliers, and facility representatives.
• Support complex issue resolution, client relationships, business development, proposal presentations, and mentorship of less experienced project managers.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in construction and building systems design; equivalent experience may substitute for a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in project management, estimating, field installation, and installation supervision.
• OSHA certification and knowledge of applicable building, safety, engineering, procurement, and construction codes and standards.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical systems, with familiarity with related disciplines and critical infrastructure.
• Proficiency with P6, Procore, Microsoft Office, and project management practices.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience managing mission-critical facilities, data centers, high-availability environments, or live occupied facilities.
• Design-build, MEP infrastructure, subcontractor, vendor, or multidisciplinary team management experience.
• Contractor state license and experience with client relationship management or business development.
