Virtual Tennessee SLP (Sign On Bonus Included)

Location: United States; active Tennessee SLP license required. Virtual position supporting a standard 35-hour work week during regular school hours, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $52/hour starting rate for the 1099 opportunity. A $500 sign-on bonus and an onboarding stipend are also available.

What you will do

• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy in 30-minute sessions for middle and high school students.
• Manage an approximate caseload of 55 students and track session data and progress.
• Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations using clinical assessment tools and digital reporting systems.
• Lead IEP meetings, manage cases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on individualized education programs.
• Prepare goal-oriented progress reports and provide IEP consultations.
• Deliver state-specific services, including AAC support, pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

Requirements

• Active SLP license in Tennessee and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• At least one year of full-time, post-CFY school-based experience with IEP-directed therapy and evaluations.
• Expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Proficiency with virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability for 35 hours per week during regular school hours, Monday–Friday.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience for case management assignments.
• Experience with Medicaid billing systems.
