Sr. Procurement Advisor

Location: Pennington, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience and skill set.

What you will do

• Manage material, CAPEX, and service procurement, including purchasing and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts and optimize terms, costs, deliverables, and service or goods quality.
• Manage MSAs, annual contracts, bidding processes, and supplier performance reviews.
• Collaborate with production teams, functional managers, vendors, and cross-functional partners to address procurement needs.
• Maintain material codes and configurations in ERP and SAP S2P systems.
• Ensure compliance with global procurement procedures, policies, audits, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience as a buyer or lead buyer.
• Experience with industry bidding procedures, contract management, negotiations, project management, and change management.
• Strong communication, influencing, collaboration, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP systems.
• GMP pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical purchasing experience is required.
