Senior Global Supply Manager II (Space)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% may be required.

Base pay range: $110,000–$160,000 USD annually, with company stock as part of total compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Build supplier relationships from initial requests for information through contract execution and ongoing management.
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish contractual frameworks with Legal and Contracts.
• Drive supplier performance improvements through metrics, scorecards, and regular business reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support prototyping and full-scale production.
• Identify supply chain risks, cost-saving opportunities, market trends, and resilience strategies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 12+ years of total work experience may substitute.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
• U.S. office employees must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements, such as U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or eligibility for required government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other disruptive manufacturing industries.
• Experience reading technical drawings and understanding design for manufacturing.
• APICS certification and experience with AS9100 or export controls.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
