Global Installation Engineer (Semiconductor Etch, New Graduate)

Location: Hefei, China; onsite work with travel required 75% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment alongside Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate service activities.
• Work safely in customer sites, clean rooms, tight spaces, and elevated areas while using required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport if travel is required; ability to meet all onsite safety and environmental requirements.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of customer or field service experience or experience in a related technical field.
• Associate degree in electronics or engineering technology.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters.
