Area Rare Cardiac Specialist (ARCS) - Columbus, OH

Location: Remote, United States — field-based role requiring residence within a workable distance of the assigned territory. Territory includes Columbus, Zanesville, Mansfield, Marietta, Lima, and Sydney. Travel to accounts and overnight stays may be required.

Annual base salary: $108,600–$250,700, plus a sales incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions across rare cardiac accounts.
• Build compliant relationships with cardiology healthcare professionals, multidisciplinary care teams, office staff, and key opinion leaders.
• Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging for appropriate use of Rare Cardiac products.
• Identify account opportunities, support patient finding and referral pathways, and provide information about prior authorization, reimbursement, hubs, and co-pay resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and remove access barriers.
• Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales or marketing, or aligned therapeutic healthcare provider experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record meeting company standards; impaired-driving citations within the past 7 years are disqualifying.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States by any employer is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Residence within a workable distance of all points in the assigned territory is required.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably in cardiology or hospital settings.
• Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement.
• Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts.
• Business acumen, data-driven decision-making, and strategic thinking.
• Experience with Veeva Engage, Zoom, or similar digital engagement tools.
