Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Projects)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop electrical engineering concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for building projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers and project architects.
• Lead electrical engineering activities across proposal, design, bidding, and construction phases.
• Perform code reviews and building condition assessments.
• Delegate and monitor project tasks for junior team members.
• Meet with internal and external clients and contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
• At least 10 years of experience at an A/E consulting firm.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, communications, security, and fire alarm systems.
• New York State Professional Engineer’s license is preferred.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus.
