Sr. Electrical Engineer

What you will do

• Lead electrical systems design and engineering for advanced and complex projects while coordinating with other disciplines.
• Design power, lighting, grounding and bonding, special systems, raceways, cable trays, and electrical control systems.
• Develop calculations, basis of design reports, code evaluations, one-line diagrams, construction drawings, schedules, specifications, and installation details.
• Manage electrical discipline budgets, project schedules, design workflows, and the work of engineers and designers.
• Support construction through RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch lists, field surveys, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers while providing mentorship and training.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in an AEC firm.
• Professional Engineer registration in good standing.
• Experience leading complex electrical design, engineering calculations, field surveys, and construction support.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple complex tasks, and direct the work of others.
• Ability to travel for client development, project execution, and training.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and BIM software.
• Advanced knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments.
• Experience applying NFPA, IESNA, UL, OSHA, IEEE, and applicable building codes.
• Experience coordinating with construction trade partners, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and systems issues.
