Physical Security Designer (Revit/AutoCAD)

Location: On-site in Rochester, New York, United States

Salary: $70,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop physical security concepts, strategies, designs, construction drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Design systems including access control, intrusion and perimeter detection, CCTV, duress systems, and integrated security platforms.
• Prepare physical security drawings and details using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Create schedules, tables, and reports using Microsoft Office.
• Perform field investigations to document existing conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams across multiple projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience preparing physical security documentation with AutoCAD or Revit.
• At least 5 years of experience working with access control and CCTV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV shop drawings and point-to-point diagrams.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Certificate or degree in CAD drafting, engineering, access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Clean criminal record and ability to enter and work within New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision facilities.
