Dir - PVMO Procurement

Location: Remote within the United States; employees are not hired from U.S. territories or Alaska, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Pennsylvania, or Maine.

Salary: $144,792–$183,170 USD annual target hiring range; maximum salary $204,104 USD.

What you will do

• Lead the full vendor lifecycle, including strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, governance, performance management, renewals, and termination.
• Develop enterprise vendor management and procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, vendor evaluations, complex commercial negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Oversee vendor governance, performance scorecards, SLAs, third-party risk management, and issue resolution.
• Use AI-powered tools, automation, analytics, and procurement technologies to improve insight, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Lead and develop procurement and vendor management staff while supporting compliance processes, OPM audits, inquiries, and reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract management, or supplier governance.
• 5+ years of experience leading procurement, sourcing, or vendor management teams.
• Strong knowledge of vendor lifecycle management, contracting, negotiations, procurement operations, and third-party risk management.
• Experience with vendor metrics, scorecards, SLAs, governance processes, AI-powered tools, automation, analytics, and procurement technologies.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, technology, legal, compliance, and finance.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• CPSM, CPCM, PMP, CIPS, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, regulated industries, federal contracting, or government-regulated organizations.
