Category Management Director- Facilities & Support Services (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with three days per week in the office at Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; Cape Girardeau, MO; or Centennial, CO. Travel is required.

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies that align with client priorities and organizational objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including requirements development, RFI/RFP execution, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Facilitate committees and value analysis discussions with physicians, clinicians, supply chain leaders, operational stakeholders, executives, and suppliers.
• Manage a complex portfolio across sourcing, contracting, analytics, implementation, and value analysis teams.
• Use spend, utilization, supplier, and market data to identify savings, standardization, quality, technology adoption, and efficiency opportunities.
• Apply AI to category strategy, market intelligence, communications, analysis, and decision-making while evaluating outputs for accuracy and business impact.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, consulting, healthcare operations, contracting, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex sourcing and category management initiatives.
• Strong negotiation and contracting experience with complex supplier agreements.
• Ability to advise and influence executive, clinical, operational, and supplier stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical, executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI tools, capabilities, outputs, and limitations, including responsible application in complex business situations.
