Category Management Director - Facilities/EVS/Support Services

Location: Hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office; offices in Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; Cape Girardeau, MO; and Centennial, CO. Travel required.

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and lead category strategies for facilities, EVS, and support-services portfolios.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including opportunity assessment, RFI/RFP execution, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Facilitate value-analysis committees and align physicians, clinicians, executives, operational leaders, supply chain professionals, and suppliers.
• Analyze spend, utilization, supplier performance, and market data to identify savings, standardization, quality, and efficiency opportunities.
• Manage cross-functional portfolio execution and advise stakeholders on market, regulatory, supply chain, legal, and competitive factors.
• Mentor team members and represent hirify.global in supplier, member, and industry engagements.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, consulting, healthcare operations, contracting, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex sourcing and category-management initiatives.
• Strong negotiation and contracting experience with complex supplier agreements.
• Advanced analytical, executive communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive, clinical, operational, and supplier stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of AI tools, capabilities, outputs, and limitations, with the ability to evaluate and apply AI responsibly in complex business situations.
