Transit Business Analyst Intern

Location: Denver, CO, United States. This is an in-office role; remote work may be available when needed, but regular office presence is encouraged.

What you will do

• Develop and assist with cost models, financial models, and business cases for client and internal projects.
• Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and identify underlying business drivers.
• Collect and summarize information from data sources, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and business process descriptions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, cases, and scenarios for analysts and consultants.
• Collaborate with internal customers and subject matter experts to analyze information needs, tradeoffs, and business performance requirements.
• Manage multiple initiatives and provide administrative support when required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, data analytics, economics, mathematics, or a relevant field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Interest in learning to write Power BI reports.
• Interest in mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure and in supporting technical and business management.
• Strong leadership initiative, commitment to excellence, personal growth, and the ability to collaborate and manage multiple initiatives.
