Lead Business Analyst - Strategy & Planning

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule

Salary: $121,350–$170,900 annual base salary

What you will do

• Build, coordinate, and improve Monthly Business Reviews and hirify.global's contribution to the Global Business Review.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards covering operational, marketplace, and financial metrics.
• Synthesize internal performance metrics and market data into insights on industry trends and competitive dynamics.
• Conduct rigorous analytical deep dives into complex and ambiguous business problems.
• Identify root causes, recommend actionable solutions, and support alignment across commercial, marketplace, operations, finance, and technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in SQL and Google Sheets or Excel.
• Ability to build clear presentations in Google Slides or PowerPoint.
• Must work in a hybrid role based in Chicago, United States.
• No immigration sponsorship or transfer is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Strong strategic skills and a record of driving impact across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
• Experience in technology or marketplace businesses.
• Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages.
